a Blanket pattern - for Wehlers

“To create the pattern we have been studying the moiré interference effect, which appears when a person is looking at two identical patterns placed on top of each other. The artist Viktor Vasarely has studied this effect and has greatly inspired us”

“We wanted to use the moiré effect to create a pattern that was interesting in depth and detail, but also to create something that would fit in a living room”.

The pattern consists of thousands of squares that are moved in a system to create the unique moving effect. To experience it try to unfold the blanket completely and then let your eyes glide over its surface.

100% wool knitted using jacquard method.

Made by family owned enterprises in the local area.

All designed, crafted and recycled in Denmark after “end of life-cycle”.
