Royal Copenhagen has a long history in Denmark, we have therefore let the inspiration come from the city.
We have tried to find something that’s typical for the danish capital, something we all can recognize. This is why we have chosen to use the original architect drawing from a typical apartment house Copenhagen building. The building is placed in the west side of Copenhagen.
This concept was awarded with the first prize in the annual Royal Copenhagen design competition 2006
