To prevent any danger, the watch is equipped with a “tide-o-meter” which main function is to visualize the tide, to help the fisherman in a bad weather. The inspiration of the “tide-o-meter” comes from the light movement from the lighthouse. When the indicator colour is blue there is flood, when orange there is ebb.
The design and choice of materials is inspired from daily life of the fishermen at Skagen. 3. prize in the Skagen Watch Competition 2006
